My son is in eleventh grade. He achieves good marks on his report card, and he is on the football and basketball teams. While most of his friends are fitness fiends, my son chooses to express his artistic abilities. At his high school, the last period of the day is set aside for involvement in a club. His friends are members of the weightlifting club. They lift weights and concentrate on physical fitness activities. My son didn’t join that club. He chose to become a member of the ceramics club, where he crafted ceramic bowls and figurines.
