I requested of Elyas to go ahead of me and get thru the barrier gradually. My small lad loves deer hunting. Extremely gradually we wormed our way thru the barrier and and then I knelt upward, our progress was really slow and as quick as a guy can edge, the deer progressed their feeding trip to the wooded area. Owen started to get somewhat anxious that they could even succeed before I could get a shot. I supposed the deer was about 300m from me, it was well within capable distance of the 300wsm rifle, and I was content to take the shot.
